Daniel and Jessica

I am so blessed in my job. I get to be a part of some of the biggest and most memorable moments of people’s lives. I recently had the privilege of photographing Daniel and Jessica’s wedding. The day was overcast and occasionally slightly rainy, but beautiful none the less. It’s always nice to be related to a florist, and comes in especially handy on your wedding day. Sedona Florist did an amazing job with all the decor. I loved the little beta fish! The ceremony was short and sweet with lots of family involvement. The couple exited to “Big and Chunky” off of Madagascar 2. It managed to only rain during outdoor group photos, but with “grin and bear it” attitude it all went smooth with smiles. Surrounded by friends and family, and a lot of really great food, the bride and groom were welcomed into the family and congratulated. Here’s a few photos of the day.

The cake was gorgeous, made by “The Cake Lady”.

Ashleigh Adams did a brilliant job as my second, and captured these detail shots, along with many other beautiful pictures.

Is it possible to have more than 24 hours in a day? I’m sure I was never so busy before. As I’m running out the door again, here’s a quick sneak peek at the wedding I did last weekend.

the beach, the blonde, the boy

So, I don’t know about Sarah and Eddie, but I had way too much fun doing their aftershoot, like a toddler let loose in Toys R Us kind of fun. They were beautiful, the weather was perfect, the waves were up, and life was good. Thanks Sarah and Eddie for being so willing to try anything and so excited to play in the wind and the waves. I hope you like the pictures as much as I do!

And of course, here’s a two of my fave’s from that windy day…

Eddie and Sarah

Who knew that a sip of soda could change your life? I’m sure Sarah never thought it would when she came walking up to Eddie to ask him for some Mt Dew. He was the jock, and she was the little blonde princess. He had spotted her at a football game and had been waiting for just such a moment.

On a beautiful June evening, I had the privilege of sharing in Sarah and Eddie’s joy as they celebrated the beginning of their happily ever after. He sauntered in with the “Eye of the Tiger”, and she sashayed down the aisle to the Lion King. The ceremony was beautiful as they said their vows under an archway that Eddie had handpicked the trees for. At the reception, Heavenly Delights Catering served up mouthwatering appetizers and later a delicious buffet-style meal.  The couple were toasted by their friends and fathers and surrounded on every side by well-wishers.

Sarah and Eddie, I love you both. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day. May you be blessed beyond measure and continue to walk in ever-growing love.

Here are a few of my favorites from their beautiful day…
